LIVE PUBLIC DATA

Flock camera map

Find the license plate readers near you. Press "Cameras near me" — your location stays in your browser and is never sent to us — or zoom the map to your town and search the area.

You found one. Now what?

A camera on a pole is a public fact, and the contract behind it is a public record. Ask your city how long plate data is kept, who can query it, and when the contract renews. Then show up when it does.

Never touch, block, or damage a camera. It is a crime, and it hands the other side the story.

Where the data comes from

Markers are pulled live from OpenStreetMap's crowd-sourced surveillance-camera data (ODbL licensed). Coverage depends on volunteers, so an empty map means nobody has mapped your area yet — not that your town is camera-free.

You can add cameras you spot to OpenStreetMap, or cross-check with the independent community map at DeFlock.
